A
message from the R.W.M.
Fraternal
greetings to all of you reading this. Welcome
to Lodge St. Mary's web site, we hope you enjoy your visit with us. The site was
originally set up for the benefit of our own membership, but it is also for
visiting and surfing brethren, and anyone else who is interested in Freemasonry.
We hope it proves useful to lodge members,
enabling them to keep up to date with lodge affairs during the summer recess,
(May to September) and to all our web visitors I hope it gives an insight to our
lodge. I cordially invite you to
visit us if you happen to be in the area on a meeting night and can assure you
of a warm welcome. Please take the time to sign our guest book as we believe this is an
excellent way to convey and promote fraternal greetings. Your message will
be read out in open lodge and you will receive an e-mail reply.

Web address
We
are situated in the village of Fyvie some 25 miles north of Aberdeen, Scotland,
on the main Aberdeen/Banff road. Unfortunately there is no rail link at present,
but Stagecoach provides a reliable bus service hourly. Accommodation can be
provided at one of the local hotels or from one of the many bed and breakfast
outlets at a reasonable cost. Fyvie castle and grounds are well worth a visit,
as is the golf course, if your itinerary allows.
Current Projects
Maintenance
of this site and keeping it updated when required,
Rebuilding and reinstating the chimney stack on the west gable end of the
building.
